This week the president talks about his surprise trip to Afghanistan to sign a new agreement with President Karzai, detailing the end of the war and our continued relationship after the war ends.
I’m glad we can finally see an end to the war there, and like many liberals wish it could be sooner. However, I also understand that safely removing 80,000+ troops with their equipment from a landlocked country in Asia is not something that can be rushed.
