I really wanted to write a post about the faux contraception controversy that all the Republican candidates are ginning up (beyond what I already wrote about Mitt’s hypocrisy on it) but instead I spent my time at work… working. So I hope to find some time to write about that tonight and will post about it tomorrow.
In the meantime, Sean Hannity has been doing outstanding work in his continued campaign to be named the least intellectually honest conservative pundit on earth. It’s a very crowded field so Hannity has to really bring the mendacity in order to stand out from the pack. Here he is, claiming that… well, you just have to see it to believe it.
Sean Hannity: It wouldn’t have happened if he had had his way, and I think that can be proven as well on tape.
What tape would that be exactly, Sean? Would it be this:
Obama: If Pakistan is unable or unwilling to hunt down bin Laden, then we should.
Clearly, Sean Hannity has mind powers and is able to tell that Obama really didn’t want to kill bin Laden. And the reason we know that Hannity is right is that Obama was so freaked out by Hannity reading his mind, he decided to actually kill bin Laden in order to confuse and deceive those who know better. It was really the perfect plan. It might have worked except that Hannity’s incredible powers of mind shielding prevent anything that would cause doubt or introspection to penetrate his reality-distortion field.
