Your Weekly Presidential Address, March 24, 2012

This week, as in previous weeks, the president focused on energy and his “all of the above” approach to energy independence. He also pressures the House to pass the bipartisan Transportation Bill that passed in the Senate with 74 votes (22 Republicans).

I know that people get tired of hearing the word “unprecedented” when talking about this president or the actions of Congress in relation to this president, but since when have transportation bills ever been controversial? Even libertarians used to believe that roads and infrastructure were legitimate government spending.

There seems to be something different about this president that I just can’t put my finger on.
