On this date in history…

April 14th, 1865: President Abraham Lincoln is assassinated by John Wilkes Booth.

April 14th, 1912: The RMS Titanic hits an iceberg just before midnight and sinks hours later.

April 14th, 1969: Bill and Carol Wiesman have a healthy, but cranky, baby boy and decide to name him Jon-David, with a hyphen but without a middle name, so that he can enjoy the experience of explaining that to every commercial and governmental agency he deals with for the rest of his life.

Disasters always come in threes. Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone.
