And whatever social network is popular in the Caribbean

The Obama campaign has released this video.

Chris Hayes had the best line about this issue on Up yesterday morning. When Wall Street Journal editor and Romney apologist Stephen Moore suggested that stashing money in the Caymans might not be about tax avoidance, Hayes asked, “Why else do you put money in the Caymans? So it can go to the beach?”

I don’t really begrudge people who make lots of money from availing themselves of all the legal ways to reduce their tax burdens, although it should be pointed out that this is one of those advantages that is only available to the very wealthy, and therefore represents yet another instance where we aren’t all playing by the same rules.

I do think disclosure is the issue here. The shenanigans involving creating a foreign shell company and transferring it to Ann Romney’s name the day before becoming governor in Massachusetts to avoid disclosure should be an issue.  It stinks, frankly.
