I think I only have two things to say about this:
(1) 43 is much, much too young for someone to die in this day and age. I feel terribly sorry for Breitbart’s family and friends.
(2) A lot of liberal outlets are cheering this news and justifying themselves by pointing out the vile things Breitbart said in his glee following Ted Kennedy’s death. I would urge that liberals stop that at once. The death of a human being is tragic whenever it occurs and there’s no need to sink to Breitbart’s level by rejoicing in his passing. In his professional capacity Breitbart was many things, most of them unsavory at best. But there’s a time and a place for pointing these things out, and there are certain occasions when it is better to show restraint and take the high road. The death of a man is one of those times.
